MediTelecare is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Chief Nursing Officer(“CNO”). The CNO is the key leader reporting directly to the CEO and managing a growing network of Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Nurses who deliver care provider services to the patient/residents in the MediTelecare paradigm of client relationships. Including but not limited to Psychiatric, Behavioral care, Geriatric care and overall chronic care programs.

Compensation: The position has an outstanding compensation package, including base salary and incentive bonus programs commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, the following is summary of the other benefits:

Chief Nursing Officer Qualifications

  • A nurse practitioner with advanced education/training and certification, licensed in good standing, or an Advance Practice Nurse: Experience in Mental Health/Psychiatry and or Geriatric care.
  • Specialization as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in clinical advanced practice nursing.
  • Experience at management or supervision of Nursing Teams and /or medical related healthcare practitioners (i.e., CNA’s, MA’s, surgical teams or similar).
  • Significant clinical experience in behavioral health and/or senior adults/ geriatric care will be a plus.
  • Experience in administration/management of quality-of-care programs
  • Experience in developing and promoting relationships among staff, management, and outside referral or client sources.
  • Experience in Coaching, training and educating staff regarding operational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in Long Term care is a definite plus
  • Training or education in business- management- leadership is significant plus.
  • Experience and proficiency in utilization of typical Electronic medical record systems i.e., EPIC, Allscripts, Netsmart, AthenaHealth, or similar.
  • A history of advancement in responsibilities and leadership roles.
